Installment 5 of a 12-part series on KTVA-TV, Channel 11, explains what "TBI," or traumatic brain injury is, how it is treated, who is most at risk and what can be done to prevent this dangerous condition.
Great news for our community and our neighborhood! Our CEO, Julie Taylor signed a letter of agreement with the Anchorage Community Land Trust to open a community health clinic in Mountain View. The clinic will provide primary care services that will be easy for the people who live and work in the area to access. The space being considered is located at 3701 Mountain View Drive, Suite 100.
“Opening this clinic will enable the hospital to assist a population whose healthcare needs are not being met,” says Julie. “Currently, there are no primary care physician offices in Mountain View. Therefore, this opportunity will enable us to better support our neighbors by meeting their healthcare needs in a more appropriate setting.”
The proposed location is across from Clark Middle School and within a block of the Mountain View Community Center / Boys and Girls Club. The site is owned by The Anchorage Community Land Trust, a community and economic development organization working in the neighborhood to enhance the quality of life for its residents.
