The program provides exercise training, nutrition consultations, relaxation techniques and education classes. We hope to help our patients increase muscular strength and endurance, decrease stress levels, cope better with treatment regimens, help correct poor nutrition, manage weight, and improve mood and sleep quality.
Oncology Rehab is a 12-week program (beginning at the patient's convenience) consisting of:
- Three 90-minute exercise & relaxation group sessions (Monday, Wednesday, Friday - 12:30-2:15 p.m.) and
- One 60-minute education class (Friday - 11:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m.)
- Nutrition and physical therapy consultations are also available
Our multidisciplinary team - Exercise Physiologist, Dietician, Registered Nurse and Physical Therapist - have the expertise, enthusiasm and compassion necessary to provide the guidelines, support and motivation you need for improved well-being.
Please note: a physician's order/referral is required before beginning the Oncology Rehab Program, and is covered by most insurance plans.
