For more than 50 years Alaska Regional has been fulfilling the medical needs of Alaskans, continually improving the scope of services and skills available within the state. In 1994, Alaska Regional joined with HCA, giving Alaskans access to the advanced medical resources of one of the nation’s largest healthcare providers.
Peggy Robinson, one of our fabulous operating room nurses, was recognized with a "Hearts of Gold" pin today for her hard work and dedication in providing specialized training for our Patient Care Assistant (PCA) team members in the operating room. Thanks to her commitment, our PCAs have opportunities to learn and grow in their roles and the work environment is improved for everyone. She is pictured here with Julie Taylor, our CEO (left), and Jon Frey, Operating Room Director. Way to go, Peggy!
We’re proud to present Lauren Bachman, RN, as Alaska Regional Hospital’s first DAISY Award recipient!
