Look Good, Feel Better Program

Look Good, Feel Better Program

Look Good…Feel Better® teaches women how to cope with the appearance-related side effects of treatment. Taught by professional cosmetologists, this free program is open to all women undergoing cancer treatment. All patients receive a free make-up kit filled with items donated by the cosmetics industry. Seating is limited and registration is required. Please contact the Cancer Center at 264-1431 to reserve your space or for additional dates, times and locations.

Tool Box: A Cancer Support Group

Tool Box is a cancer support group for individuals diagnosed with any type and stage of cancer. Cancer can affect people in many ways and pose emotional, physical, financial and psychological challenges. Access to psychosocial support is a critical factor in helping the cancer patient gain the necessary tools to help cope with the new challenges one may face, help make necessary adjustments in their lives, and to develop a positive outlook. Please contact the Cancer Center at 264–1431 for questions.

Planning Ahead: Preparing Important Documents

  • Time: 12 – 1 p.m. on September 9, October 14, November 11 and December 9
  • Time: 6 – 7 p.m. on September 30, October 28, November 25 and December 30

At this free seminar, participants will learn about the importance of advance directives/living wills, power of attorney, the Comfort One (DNR) Program, and other important documents. We’ll help you prepare for the unexpected. Refreshments provided. Please contact the Cancer Center at 264–1431 for questions.
