The Outpatient Infusion Center at Alaska Regional Hospital provides services for individuals requiring infusions, transfusions of blood products, injections, line blood draws and vascular access care.
Our experienced and professional staff of fully trained registered nurses will monitor every aspect of your treatment while you are here with us. We provide exceptional customer service by supplementing the clinical care portion of your treatment with assessment and evaluation, as well as education on your medical diagnosis and medications.
Cost effective solution
The Outpatient Infusion Center is a cost-effective solution for the adult patient. We provide the care and education you need – without the expense and inconvenience of inpatient hospitalization. Our patient-centered approach to providing care is exemplified by our flexibility in scheduling appointments based on your schedule, not ours.
Family-centered values are woven into our clinical services. Your family or caregivers are welcome to join you during therapy.

- IV hydration
- IV antibiotic therapy
- Administration of blood products
- IV iron therapy
- Central line maintenance (declotting, dressing changes)
- Injectable medications
- IV corticosteroids
- IV Remicade
- IV Tysabri
- Peripherally inserted central catheter placement (PICC line)
