“We stared off 2018 with challenging situation in our Intensive Care Unit. We had a very sick patient, a very public case, lots of high emotions and lots of family members. This created a challenging situation for physicians and ICU nursing staff that required a lot of hard work and single-minded dedication to our mission.

Dr. Berenson was excellent in helping to navigate the patient’s family through a tough decision while supporting the ICU nursing staff along the way. His consistency, empathy, and willingness to navigate this patients care was above and beyond and we really appreciate his support to our team! Thank you Dr. Berenson!”

Robert Finch, M.D.

“I would like to nominate Dr. Finch for a heart of gold, he's our new night shift in-house hospitalist, and has been EXCELLENT. I have called him regarding a few patients, but two patients in particular in which he immediately came to the floor, helped us to assess the situation and was not only there to provide us with orders, but went well above and beyond to assist us in any way.

Dr. Finch also assisted us with a patient transitioning to comfort care, he took time with the patient's family and overall provided attentive and superb care to patient, family and the nursing staff as well.

This is a great doc, he even volunteers to move the beds when a patient is transferred. I just feel like we don't get physicians like this very often and he should be recognized for the entire night medical staff. If you could get this to where it needs to go, I would be grateful. Thank you!”
