Where Daniel reshaped his life
Meet Daniel. Not long ago, he had Type II Diabetes and weighed over 350 lbs. His joints hurt and he was always exhausted. In his mid-40s, he did not think he would live to see 50. Daniel decided to take control of his life and had robotic bariatric surgery at Alaska Regional Hospital, a Center of Excellence for Robotic Surgery. He experienced very little pain and a short recovery time. Daniel lost nearly 190 lbs. and feels better than ever. And, two years after surgery, he ran a marathon!
